After many years of “Anticipated Creation” TRACKER TRUCKS has teamed up with Award winning Designer and Former Tracker Rider, Dave Hackett to Design and Co-Author Tracker’s Definitive Archive of over 40 Years of Skateboarding’s first modern truck. TRACKER TRUCKS: “40 YEARS OF TRUCKS YOU CAN TRUST” (Working Title.)

The origin of TRACKER TRUCKS dates back to 1973 when the first prototypes were made by Larry Balma and Dave Dominy specifically for Skateboarding. Their Original design was based on Performance, Strength and Quality. For the past 40 years those three words continue to be the driving force of TRACKER TRUCKS.

The TRACKER book will be a collection of photographs, stories, timelines and reflections on TRACKER TRUCKS and it’s rich History from the perspective of the individuals involved in the Design, Innovation, Manufacturing, and Advertising as well as the Professional Riders and Photographers who made TRACKER TRUCKS a staple and major Icon in the Action Sports Industry.

The book will also be a compilation of artifacts, quotes and stories from the 1000’s of people who helped shape the TRACKER legacy. These contributors will also provide 100’s of never before seen or published photos depicting the TRACKER culture and family including TRACKER Founders Larry Balma, Dave Dominy, and Gary Dodds and the many photographers who helped create some of Skateboarding’s most timeless imagery.
